New Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

The New Dodge Hellcat would be a perfect choice if you looking for a new muscle car but of course it's not a cheap one it's going to be a little expensive. MSRP starts around 60,000 Which really isn't to bad considering the amount of power this car comes with. Monthly payments would be around 850 as well.  This car is a front engine, rear wheel drive 2 door coupe like most muscle cars are. The engine is a 6.2 liter or 370 cu in or 6166 cc of raw power. It has a supercharger with a inter-cooler and of course the all american iron block with aluminum heads and 8 cylinders. She puts out around 707 hp at the rear at 6000 rpm and 650 lb-ft at 4000 rpm but it has setting in the dash where you are able to turn it the power up and down just in case of bad weather or for whatever reason. The car has a 6-speed manual transmission so it's definitely going to be a fun toy to play around with and really get a feel of the power while shifting some gears. This car will just be a weekend car because the MPG is 13/21 which isn't to bad but that isn't going to cut it for a daily driver so I wouldn't recommend this car if it's going to be your everyday vehicle. For the amount of power this comes with the price it really low. Any other american car with this amount of power will cost you close to a 100 thousand. It's not the fastest American muscle car but it does have the most horsepower for the factory. You will most likely simile from cheek to cheek the whole time you're driving it.

  1. I am definitely more for the Hellcat than just the regular SRT and found this information very useful for my dream of hopefully ever being able to get one! I now know the comparison between a Hellcat and just a SRT

  2. The Hellcat is definitely a dream car of mine. I wish i had the money to buy one now but maybe in the future. I've luckily got to look underneath one of these bad boys and what can I say from a mechanics stand point this car is on point all the way around no flaws to the naked eye. the only downside to this beast is probably the MPG and the price.
